Dr Victor G. ILIE

I am originally from Romania and I moved to Australia, where I met my Tasmanian born wife Rebecca, during our training at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

I am an avid reader who appreciates the arts and philosophy for their wisdom and insights into human nature. 

Rebecca and I along with our three boys, love to explore the stunning Tasmanian scenery. Whether camping, surfing, engaging in karate and jiu-jitsu training, or discovering the amazing gastronomical delights of Hobart and Launceston, we embrace every opportunity for adventure.

I believe that traveling offers the perfect chance to meet new people and experience different cultures. My medical training has taken me across Australia, from Dubbo to Darwin and finally to setting up our home and practice in Hobart.

Our family has cherished memories from our time in Europe where I completed robotic surgery training.
